There are numerous antique, craft and specialty shops nearby, along with theaters and area museums.
For the nature lover, there are groomed hiking, biking (seasonal) trails. Interpretative Center at nearby Sibley State Park. Fishing, boating (seasonal), skiing, swimming, sun-bathing (seasonal) and bike rentals are all available.
The paved DNR Glacial Lakes Trail is a beautiful scenic 26-mile route meandering through woods, prairies and streams. It is a wonderful place for riding bikes, rollerblading, walking and running (seasonal); snow-mobiling and cross country skiing (seasonal).
