Last Minute Fun? It’s Spicer’s Annual Winterfest.

Are you looking for a fun outing?  Spicer’s annual winterfest begins this weekend, with fun activities and fireworks.  Here is a link to the schedule of events.  There will be a Frozen 5K Run/Walk, Softball Tournament, Art Exhibit & Wine Tasting, Helicopter Rides, Snowboarding and Lighting Ceremony & Fireworks at the Ice Castle.

Attention snowmobilers, cross country skiers and outdoor enthusiasts!

There is plenty of snow for snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snow shoeing.  You can bring your snowmobile or outdoor equipment and make your own path from our Inn  Or, located approximatley 6 miles from our Inn is the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center with groomed trails and equipment rental (skis and snow shoes), along with several fun activities.  The groomed 36 mile Glacial Ridge Trail is popular for snowmobiling and meanders through prairies and wooded terrain.

Afterwards, enjoy a hot cup of tea or hot chocolate followed by a fabulous dinner and dessert.   Relax in a double whirlpool tub while you watch the flames dance in the fireplace in one of our 18 guestrooms.  Play a board game or read a good book while you cozy up with your loved one.  In the morning enjoy a four-course breakfast with entrees such as broccoli, cheese and sausage egg strata with marinara sauce, eggs benedict or Belgian waffles.
