Strap on those skis!
Winter can be cold here at Green Lake Minnesota, it’s true. We like to pass the winter months at our Minnesota bed and breakfast curled up beside roaring fires, with book in hand and cups of tea by our side. It is as delightful as it sounds.
Yet many of us also like to get out and experience the winter wonderland that is all around us – at least from time to time. It makes us appreciate the warmth of the fire so much more.
It is always invigorating to put on a pair of snowshoes or cross country skis and head out into the wilderness (or at least to a well-marked trail). You are invited to blaze your own trail right from our Minnesota Inn. Ski for miles or stomp around in your snowshoes for an hour or so. You will certainly be ready to return to our Minnesota bed and breakfast as the light fades, ready for Afternoon Tea.
Nearby Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center has almost seven miles of trails throughout its 500 acres. This is another delightful place to ski. Equipment rental (cross country skis or snowshoes) is available.
Now is the time to put down that book and strap on those skis!
