 Deer Hunting Widows are you looking for a fun afternoon on Saturday, November 14th?  Stop by our Inn and enjoy shopping and looking at the 1000′s of gift items from several vendors.  Great way to get a start on your holiday shopping list.  While your at the Inn, enjoy our wine tasting with cheese, spiced nuts and hors doeuvres and tour a few of our 18 guestrooms on our five acre estate located on beautiful Green Lake.

Sunset over Green Lake ~ Spicer Castle InnTonight as I am bundled in a cozy blanket and enjoying a steaming cup of peppermint tea I can hear the wind outside rustling through the leaves.  The air is crisp and the trees are turning crimson red and bright yellow ~ fall is here!

Be sure to bring your camera as the sunsets are magnificent over  Green Lake.   John Spicer, who built this grand lake home in 1895 selected this spot for the sunsets and during the autumn season when the moon is full the reflection on the water it is truly transpiring.  If you or someone special in your life is  celebrating a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion or perhaps you are  looking for a romantic getaway or fun girls night out our Fall Wood Fire Dinner is just for you.

Are you looking for a fun outing?  Spicer’s annual winterfest begins this weekend, with fun activities and fireworks.  Here is a link to the schedule of events.  There will be a Frozen 5K Run/Walk, Softball Tournament, Art Exhibit & Wine Tasting, Helicopter Rides, Snowboarding and Lighting Ceremony & Fireworks at the Ice Castle.
