Tonight as I am bundled in a cozy blanket and enjoying a steaming cup of peppermint tea I can hear the wind outside rustling through the leaves. The air is crisp and the trees are turning crimson red and bright yellow ~ fall is here!

John Spicer, who built this grand lake home in 1895 selected this spot for the sunsets and during the autumn season when the moon is full the reflection on the water it is truly transpiring. We are excited to announce our new fall Spicer Castle Inn Fall Wood Fire Dinners. You can make your reservation just for dinner or if you are looking for a fun getaway include a night or two at our historic bed and breakfast Inn along the shores of beautiful Green Lake. The colors are just starting to show their autumn splendor – now is a great time to visit our Inn and enjoy the outdoors.
Fall is a beautiful season and the splendor of the sunsets across Green Lake was the reason John Spicer selected this location to build his lake home. There are 18 guestrooms, several with double whirlpool tubs and showers, fireplaces, coffeemakers, refirgerators and microwaves. Afternoon tea and a four-course breakfast are included with your stay.

As an innkeeper one of the most rewarding experiences is knowing that we provide a place where our guests can meet new friends, enjoy great food, laugh, make smores at the firepit, read a book or put a puzzle together and walk the paths and view the spectacular fall colors.
