Add our wood fire dinner, $10.00 per person grill your own or $19.95 per person chef prepared. All entrees include: cranberry walnut salad, rolls, parmesan potato wedges, acorn squash and parsnip medley or roasted carrots. Your choice of: sirloin steak, roasted chicken breast, rosemary pork loin or shrimp skewer. Dessert choices: roasted apples with caramel sauce and ice cream, ultimate brownie torte ala mode or pumpkin cheesecake with caramel bourbon sauce. Beverages: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, chai tea, soda or we have our wine and beer list available.
While your at our B&B you can go hiking or biking on the paved trail, relax in a whirlpool tub while you watch the flames dance in the fireplace, take our canoe out and and view the shores of Green Lake, sit by our bonfire and roast s’mores as you tell tales, visit scenic Sibley State Park, Glacial Ridge Winery,or Twin Spin Cinema.

Only in Minnesota do the seasons change so rapidly, now as I am looking out the window I see the Amur Maple tree is a splendid red color and there is a chance of snow flurries Friday night.
I am excited for the fall season and the opportunity to introduce our wood fire dinners to you. We are offering 12 Pepper Seasoned Sirloin, Herb Pork Loin with Dijon Sauce, Chicken Breast with Italian Marinade and Shrimp Skewers. To top off your dining exeprience you will want to sample our Roasted Apple with Caramel Sauce and Ice Cream, Pumpkin Cheesecake or Ultimate Brownie Torte.

We are excited to announce our new fall Spicer Castle Inn Fall Wood Fire Dinners. You can make your reservation just for dinner or if you are looking for a fun getaway include a night or two at our historic bed and breakfast Inn along the shores of beautiful Green Lake. The colors are just starting to show their autumn splendor – now is a great time to visit our Inn and enjoy the outdoors.
Fall is a beautiful season and the splendor of the sunsets across Green Lake was the reason John Spicer selected this location to build his lake home. There are 18 guestrooms, several with double whirlpool tubs and showers, fireplaces, coffeemakers, refirgerators and microwaves. Afternoon tea and a four-course breakfast are included with your stay.

Looking for some laughs and great food? Than our murder mystery dinner is just the ticket held Friday and Saturday or reserve your murder mystery lunch or dinner with a minimum of 8 guests any day of the week.
Looking for something to do? Go biking or walking on the paved trails, don’t want to bring your bike, rent one at the nearby Spicer Bike & Sports. Visit Sibley State Park or try your luck at mini golf at the Big Kahuna Fun Park. Sit by the shore and read a good book, check out the local Glacial Ridge Winery, go canoeing along the shore of Green Lake, try your luck at shore fishing, shop at the nearby stores or catch a movie at the Twin Spin Cinema to name a few of the many things to do in our area.

Mid-week travelers (Sunday through Wednesday night) grill your dinner overlooking beautiful Green Lake ~ choose from 8 oz. sirloin, 6 oz. chicken breast, 8 oz. pork loin, 2 bratwurst or 2 quarter pound hamburgers, Per Person! It’s finally here – the Fourth of July Celebration! For me this brings back memories from my childhood of the Spicer Parade and all the festivities during the day with the spectacular fireworks over beautiful Green Lake at dusk. Equally important is to give thanks to those brave people who serve in our armed forces and their families.
If you have never been to Spicer over the Fourth of July - then this is your year! Afterall you made it through another Minnesota winter and you deserve a fun getaway in the summer sun.

This weekend we celebrated “Aunt Betty’s” birthday. It was fun to get together with family and friends to celebrate this special occassion. Aunt Betty loves to garden, so I decided to make her favorite white cake with lemon filling and decorated it with fondant roses.
We hope that you keep our bed and breakfast Inn in mind when you have a special birthday to celebrate with your family and friends. It would be fun to create a personalized cake for your birthday party.

Summer is coming!
It is a beautiful day in Spicer, Minnesota. The temperature is 60 degrees and the piles of snow are quickly disintegrating. Our thoughts turn to summer fun! We have a wonderful time at our Inn welcoming guests from all over the world. The Spicer Castle Belle is an enjoyable and relaxing evening, where you can enjoy a leisurely tour of beautiful Green Lake while dining on a wonderful dinner. The tour and dinner takes approximately 2.5 hours.
