Green Lake is popular for many reasons. Look at a photo or two, and you'll quickly notice that the lake is incredibly beautiful. The sunsets are gorgeous, and the water is spring fed and emerald green—a jewel among lakes.. Minnesota is abundant with natural beauty, but no spot in our state is prettier than Green Lake.
Besides being beautiful, Green Lake and Spicer, Minnesota are filled with fun things to do. You and your friends, family or business associates can cross country ski or snowmobile in winter, and in summer months, can fish, boat, swim and golf. You can rent pontoons and jet skis, or rent bikes to tour the 26 mile DNR Glacial Lakes Trail. You can watch the Little Crow Water Ski Team perform incredible stunts at one of their shows, or play mini-golf at Big Kahuna.
Perhaps the single most fun activity in Spicer takes place right here, at the Spicer Castle Inn. Our Murder Mystery Dinners are a Spicer legend. Guests who have joined us for past Murder Mystery dinners have described them as both suspenseful and hilarious. With five courses of made-from-scratch gourmet foods, the mystery dinners are also delicious.
