Jessie's Room at Spicer Castle
An ivory room where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the lake from the octagonal tower. A walnut spool queen bed with table and chairs, mahogany vanity and wicker reading chair add to the special quality of this room. Glimpses of Jessie’s life at the University, Cold Spring on the Hudson and after her return to Spicer are provided. Jessie developed the concept for remodeling the Spicer Castle in its present Tudor style while traveling with her father in Europe. A fortunate last minute change of plans saved them from returning on the Titanic. Bathroom with claw foot tub and shower. Jessie is the daughter of John Spicer.
