Minnesota Cabins
Spending your vacation in Minnesota cabins doesn't have to mean "roughing it." Our Minnesota cabins are luxurious and cozy. The Spicer Castle Inn has room for 36 people altogether. We have eight rooms in the Castle itself, and 10 cabins, or cottage rooms, throughout the property.
If the phrase "Minnesota cabins" makes you think of cold, bare rooms, think again. Raymond's Cabin is one of the private cottages at Spicer Inn, and it's absolutely lovely. The cabin was built at the turn of the last century. It features a massive stone chimney and fireplace, and has wonderful views of Green Lake. It also has plenty of privacy and peace for couples who just want to get away from it all.
Minnesota Cabins and More
Spicer Castle is home to another private cottage, known as John's Cottage. The Cottage was named for John Spicer, the renowned business pioneer who built Spicer Castle in 1895. John was a torch-bearer at the Lincoln-Douglas debates, and a pillar of his community. The Cottage that bears his name is romantic and peaceful, with a fireplace and double-corner whirlpool tub. The queen-sized bed has a remarkable mahogany headboard, and lovely, lace-curtained windows.
Each of the 18 rooms and cottages at Spicer Castle is lovely and unique. Many of the rooms are filled with original art, much of it created by the talented Spicer family members. Each room has such individual character that you may wish to admire photos and read descriptions of each room on our website before making your reservation.
