This soft peach room features a wood burning fireplace, fifteen lace-curtained windows viewing the lake, lagoon and grounds, a queen bed with sculptured mahogany headboard, wicker table and chairs, and a small dining table and chairs. Starting on a farm in Illinois, John later worked in a store and was a torchbearer at the Lincoln-Douglas debates. Moving to Minnesota, he learned about business and farming, and became prominent in the development of Southwestern Minnesota. Rates
$187 per night. In July and August, Friday and Saturday are $207 per night. Rates are for two guests per room per night and 6.5% sales tax will be added.
